Anna Maria is a graduate of the Department of Sociology at Panteion University. She is actively involved in the Greek Forum of Migrants and she has done her internship in the organization of GFM.

She has radio experience as a member of the `Think differently` radio team, she has done training sessions at the Athens 9.84 radio station and has been part of the team which broadcast shows on the Orange and Red radios and she was the producer of the radio broadcasts of the GFM radio group `Think Free`. She is currently in charge of the info desk, which operates under the Alef school program, which provides useful information on issues involving immigrants and refugees.
