No to racism, Yes to equality
With the message `No to Discrimination, Yes to Equality`, the Greek Forum of Migrants in collaboration with the PANATHINAIKOS football team has joined their voice with the world of football.
The PANATHINAIKOS team hosted the students who attend the Greek language school at the offices of the Greek Forum of Migrants within the framework of the Alef School project, in the game with Xanthi team (16/10). The students are 16-28 year old refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, Somalia, Iraq and Iran.
Those young refugees are the athletes who participated with three football teams in the “Football Fare Antiracist Tournament 2016” of Athens, which was organized by the Greek Forum of Migrants including three local teams of migrants. The ALEF School is the current program that includes Greek language courses and numerous social and cultural activities, with funding from Mercy Corps and support by the Municipality of Athens.
