For the 4th year in a row, the Greek Forum of Migrants is organizing a Walk Against Discrimination on 21st of March, International Day against Elimination and Racial Discrimination.

No slaves again in Africa
The African Network of Greece - ANG, with the collaboration of Greek Forum of Migrants has appealed to European Commision offices in Athens and the Italian embassy on Saturday 2 December 2017 in Syntagma sq., in response to the publication of video footage showing slave auctions of African refugees in Libya, to protest and march and shout NO SLAVES again in Africa.

The Greek Forum of Migrants attended the 16th General Assembly of ENAR - European Network Against Racism, in Bruxelles, 28-29 June.

Is Greece ready to challenge discrimination?
The Greek Forum of Migrants organized the workshop `Is Greece ready to challenge discrimination?` on Wednesday, May 24th. The issues that were discussed concerned the rights of the migrant woman, the discrimination faced by the LGBT community and the discrimination on the grounds of religion, origin and nationality. At the event were presented representatives from 32 organizations and migrant communities.

Third International Soccer Tournament 5 x 5
Caucasus Cultural Center and the Georgian Youth Association in Athens are organizing the 3rd International 5x5 Soccer Tournament on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st May 2017 at Sotiris Angelopoulos Stadium in Paleo Faliro.

ENAR Foundation Award
The ENAR Foundation awards for a racism-free Europe 2013 celebrate individuals, organisations and businesses that contribute to a better society for all.ΕNAR Foundation gave an award to the Greek Forum of Migrants, a NGO from Athens that provides support and assistance to second-generation young migrants, to help them retain the nationality status. The ENAR Foundation Awards want to commend the work done by the Greek Forum of Migrants and attract attention to the particular hard situation experienced by Migrants and people from ethnic minorities in Greece at present. The Greek Forum of Migrants contributes greatly to a world of solidarity and equality for all, by also raising the attention of the national community to the particular situation of migrants and second generation migrants in Greece and in promoting a diverse country for all.

Fight Hate Crime Now
Greek Forum of Migrants in cooperation with the Norwegian Centre Against Racism will implement a project, named “fight hate crime now” from November 2014 to August 2015.

Violent attack by Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn) against the Tanzanian Community in the Kipseli district of Athens on the evening of Tuesday 25 September.
On the evening of Tuesday 25 September the community of Tanzania, which has its offices in Lemesou street in the Kipseli district for over three years, and is active as a community from 1999, was violently attacked by a group of 80 members of Chrysi Avgi (Golden Dawn) during a meeting among its members.
